Google Profile Data

When you grant us access to your Google Profile data via OAuth, we collect your name, email, and avatar. This information is used to:

  • Send you email invitations once a meeting time is set.

Google Calendar Access

Our integration with Google Calendar allows gosu.team members to:

  • Manage their availability.
  • Schedule meetings through a public link with payment options handled by Stripe.

We access your Google Calendar only to manage availability and scheduled meetings. We do not share your Google Calendar data with any third parties except as necessary for the functioning of our services.

K-pop English App: Advertising and Purchases

Our iOS app K-pop English: Learn Grammar shows ads and offers in-app subscriptions. It uses the following third-party services:

  • Google AdMob
    • The free version of the app shows banner and rewarded ads served by Google AdMob. To serve ads, measure their performance and prevent fraud, Google and its ad partners may collect device information (such as device type, operating system and app-specific or advertising identifiers), your IP address and approximate location derived from it, and information about how you interact with ads.
    • The app does not ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites, so Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) is not shared with Google.
    • Google's use of this data is described in its privacy policy and on How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
  • Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
    • If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent message before personalised ads are shown. You can consent, refuse or choose specific purposes and partners. If you refuse, you may still see non-personalised ads, which use limited data such as the app you are using and your approximate location.
    • You can change or withdraw your choice at any time under Settings → Ad privacy choices in the app.
  • RevenueCat and Apple
    • Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status; it receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase history, but not your payment details. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available here.
    • Premium subscribers do not see ads.
