Memo, an app inspired by cognitive training methodologies, is intended to serve as a tool for mental exercise and educational engagement. While many neurologists may recommend similar games for the potential prevention of dementia or Alzheimer's disease, Memo is not validated by scientific studies to guarantee such health benefits.
Our app draws from general principles that some studies suggest may be beneficial for cognitive function. For instance, a study involving Scottish students indicated improvements in test scores and reduced time to complete cognitive tests after using a brain training game. Conversely, another study found no significant evidence that such games improve cognitive function more than traditional brain training methods.
Memo is designed to be part of a varied and balanced routine of cognitive activities. It should not replace other intellectually stimulating activities such as tutoring, reading, playing strategy games, or engaging in social interactions, which have also been shown to be beneficial.
We acknowledge that some studies, such as one conducted in Sendai city, Japan, have observed improved cognitive functions in the elderly after using brain training games. However, it is important to note that results can vary widely, and improvements in cognitive functions may not be solely attributable to the use of our App or any similar tool.
Memo is provided primarily for entertainment and educational purposes. No claim is made regarding the App’s efficacy in improving cognitive functions to a scientifically proven level. Users should consult with healthcare professionals regarding the management or prevention of any health condition, including dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
Memo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use the App.
Memo reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time.
We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Memo reserves the right to withdraw or amend our Service, and any service or material we provide via the App, in our sole discretion without notice.
